We the people in Delhi are really spoilt for choices whenever it comes to short vacations for 2-3 nights to escape the city heat and get ourselves pampered on the hills. But most of the places that we know for vacatinoning like Shimla, Mussoorie, Nainital, Manali, kasol, Mcleod Ganj are no more worthy for a relaxing holiday as they are always full with people from all over the world, vehicles and pollution. So now the time has come to search for places those are off beat, unexplored and less crowded. So while searching for such a place to spend a couple of days on the hills I came across Mukteshwar, a small hill station in Uttarakhand about 340 km from Delhi. we promptly decided to visit Mukteshwar.
It was just about a 7 hours relaxing drive on the NH 24 via Gajraula, Moradabad bypass, Ramnagar, Corbett, Nainital and Ramgarh. We started early morning about 5 am, stopped at Gajraula for breakfast and reached our destination by 12 noon.
While searching for a place to stay at Mukteshwar we came across Club 10 Pine lodge A beautiful resort that has 6 spacious rooms including 2 Suite and 4 deluxe rooms with extra bed in each room, restaurant, playing room, Bar and secure parking within the premises. The resort is surrounded with valley view and on road approachable from Bhimtal and Bhowali way. The place is off-beat location with almost all modern facilities like 24 Hour Housekeeping, LCD with satellite channel, Power backup etc. The nearby area is full of fruits orchards. We really loved our stay here. We were served our lunch dinner breakfast ect during our stay in theri garden witl valley view and it was such a great experience. The food served was totally like home cooked food and they took care of our personal requirements too. I totally recomend this place for staying.
We also visited the nearby attractions of Mukteshwar which were all within half hours drivenext mornig and also explored the nearby areas and villages by walking. The must visit places are
1. Chauli ki jaali – here we also did some rock climbing, flying fox and rappeling
2. Bhalo gaad waterfall – a nice shrot trek to enjoy an beautiful waterfall
3. Mukteshwar Mahadev temple
We stayed here in a relaxed manner for about 2 nights 3 days, though we wanted to stay more but it was work calling us back and we had to start our return journey back home. On our way back we also stopped at Naukuchiatal, Bhimtaal, Saattal and Nainital for a while.
